A window does not move.

1. Check the menu bar status. Resume if OptionDrag is paused.
2. If Accessibility is required, follow the app’s setup guide and approve the correct installed copy yourself. Do not reset permissions as a troubleshooting shortcut.
3. Check the configured modifier and button in Shortcuts. Begin a held drag inside a supported window.
4. Check Exclusions. A listed app intentionally keeps its own gestures.
5. Try a normal Finder window to distinguish an app-specific limitation.

OptionDrag’s own Settings and Quick Guide use native titlebar dragging. Self-targeting with window gestures is intentionally excluded for safety.

Resize behaves differently than expected.

Start near the intended edge or corner. The grab region determines which sides change. Some windows cannot resize or limit their dimensions; Maximize cannot override those restrictions.

On a trackpad, a secondary click must remain held while the pointer moves. Two-finger scrolling does not replace a secondary drag. The trackpad guide describes the limits without asking you to change macOS settings.

Dragging feels uneven.

Try the same window with screen sharing stopped through the sharing app’s normal controls. Let the system settle before comparing. In testing, recovery was not always immediate.

This is a diagnostic comparison, not a confirmed fix or proof that capture causes every stutter. Do not disable system protections, reset Accessibility or force-quit system services.

If you report it, include the app, macOS version, whether sharing was active and a short description of what changed. Never send a recording containing private documents.

Downloads and updates.

The free release is ad-hoc signed for integrity, not Developer ID signed or Apple notarized. Download only the official release. Update checks use a signed HTTPS feed and open the official release page; automatic installation is disabled. macOS may require normal first-launch and Accessibility approval, including after an update.
